Council Tax

Council Tax must be paid to local authorities in order to raise the money needed to provide local services. Almost every household has to pay Council Tax.

It is not always possible to send an acknowledgement for items of correspondence received by any method other than email. We try to respond within 14 days to all post received however due to workload and particularly at busy times of the year this may take longer. Please be assured we will respond as soon as we can.
