With over 6,500 VAT registered enterprises in the borough including notable names such as Ford Motor Company, New Holland Agriculture, Leonardo and Konica Minolta; Basildon is a major hub of enterprise in the Thames Gateway economy. Building on this, Basildon Council works with the business community to create opportunities by helping them to develop, network and access new markets.
