Basildon Borough Council's e-Planning system enables users to view, track and comment on planning applications online.

ADVANCE NOTIFICATION: TEMPORARY LOSS OF E-PLANNING SERVICES, THURS 9 -  MON 13 MAY 2019

Our e-Planning Services web pages will be temporarily unavailable due to the need to carry out scheduled maintenance between 9-13 May 2019.

E-Planning services will be unavailable from around 7pm on Thursday 9th May until approximately 10am on Monday 13th May 2019.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation in this matter and please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by this temporary loss of service.

The more recent the application, the more information is available. For most applications since 1st January 2008, there will also be supporting plans and documents available to view online. Information is also held for Appeals against Planning Decisions, and Enforcement Cases

Search for a Planning Application - This service will allow you to:

  • Search current and historic planning applications and view plans.

  • Receive email notifications
  • View a list of the most recently submitted planning applications.

Submitting a comment on an application.

We welcome comments on planning applications either objecting to, or in support of, an application. Please note that you will need to register with the e-Planning system in order to submit a comment.

Important note regarding property or legal transaction

The online planning history contained within the e-Planning system should not be relied upon in connection with a property or legal transaction. If you require a property's complete history for the purposes of conducting a property or legal transaction, please contact our Local Land Charges Search Office to discuss your requirements together with any fees that may be involved.
