Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update - Barleylands Recycling Centre reopened on Monday 18 May.

Strict social distancing measures are in place to ensure the safety of the public and staff.

There is a one in, one out policy and members of the public may be asked to queue when accessing the site which could cause delays.

Please only visit Barleylands Recycling Centre if the items you wish to dispose of could cause a hazard if left at home.

Open Bank Holidays except:

  • Christmas Eve (24th December) - closes at 2.30pm

  • New Year's Day (1st January) - closed all day

Last admission for members of the public is five minutes before closing time.

Please Note: Barleylands Recycling Centre have installed a height restriction barrier at 2m to prevent the unauthorised disposing of commercial waste. Vehicles above this height will not be able to gain access to the recycling centre. We also do not allow open backed trucks or vans and do not collect trade waste at this location.
