Creams and The SushiCo set to join East Square Cinema development
Exciting new additions are coming to the East Square Cinema development, as Creams Café and The SushiCo prepare to open their doors on East Walk.
Creams Café, known for its vibrant dessert offerings, will bring a delicious range of freshly made treats, including waffles, crêpes, sundaes, cakes, sorbets, gelatos, and a variety of vegan desserts.
Meanwhile, The Sushi Co will offer a fresh take on Japanese cuisine, serving made-to-order sushi prepared in an open live kitchen, allowing customers to watch their meals being crafted right before their eyes.
Leader of Basildon Council, Cllr Gavin Callaghan, welcomed the new arrivals, stating:
"I have consistently promised that all five of our town centres will see regeneration in the life of this administration and we're delivering on that promise.
"Whether it's a major retailer moving into Wickford town centre, the diagnostic centre in Pitsea or finally delivering the new Laindon shopping centre after 15 years, we are bringing positive change and growth to the borough. People can see and feel it."
Cllr Jessica Power, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Jobs & Skills, added:
"We believe in Basildon, and as a council we remain committed to supporting businesses that invest in our community and the skills of our residents. We're thrilled to welcome these two well-loved brands to the borough.
"Securing Creams Café and SushiCo for East Square is a testament to the development's appeal and the strength of its tenant mix. These brands are renowned for their quality offerings and will undoubtedly enhance the dining experience for visitors. We are excited to see East Square continue to evolve into a dynamic destination that meets the diverse needs of our community."
