In the News: Basildon residents invited to explore career opportunities working with children at Pathways Jobs Fair

Basildon residents interested in a career working with children are invited to attend the upcoming Pathways Jobs Fair on May 22, 2025. The event offers a unique opportunity for individuals to learn about a variety of roles in childcare and education.

Whether you're considering a position in nurseries, as a classroom assistant, in holiday clubs or school sports, working in children's residential care, or fostering, the fair will showcase a wide range of career paths in the sector.

The Pathways Jobs Fair will feature a variety of employers and recruiters, including those offering opportunities in:

  • Nurseries
  • Classroom Assistance
  • Holiday Clubs
  • School Sports
  • Fostering
  • Children's Residential Care

In addition, training providers will be on hand to discuss apprenticeship opportunities and short courses for those looking to get started in the field or advance their careers in childcare.

The Working with Children jobs fair will be at Pathways on Thursday 22 May, 12:00pm to 2:00pm, in the entrance foyer of the Basildon Centre, St. Martin's Square, Basildon, SS14 1DL.
