In the news: Ninety-four new homes ready for borough residents on homeseeker register
A total of 94 new apartments are now complete and will soon be welcoming residents who have been waiting on the homeseeker register.


The apartments are based in Great Oaks close to Basildon town centre and are made up of 89 one-bed and five two-bed properties as well as a ground floor concierge space.
Chairman of Basildon Council's Housing and Estate Renewal Committee Councillor Andrew Schrader said: "The completion of this high-quality build will provide much needed homes for our residents who have been patiently waiting on the homeseeker register. Everyone deserves a home to be proud of and these are no exception offering modern, comfortable living close to local amenities and transport hubs."
Managing Direct of Davis Construction, Tom Davis added: "Acorn House was a significant project for Davis Construction, we are pleased to have worked alongside Basildon Borough Council, Aspect CMS and Calfordseadon to deliver these incredible new homes for local residents to enjoy."
