In the news: Public hearing on land in Bowers Gifford set for next month
A public hearing in respect of Land East Of White House, Carlton Road, Bowers Gifford, Basildon, will be held next month.
An Inspector, appointed by the Secretary of State, will hold the hearing on Tuesday 2 November at 10am in the St George's Suite, The Basildon Centre, St Martin's Square.
The public can attend the hearing and, at the Inspector's discretion, give their views, or appoint someone to speak on their behalf.
The hearing follows an appeal by Mr Mark Cooper relating to the refusal of a planning application submitted to Basildon Council, reference 18/01429/FULL, for Material change of use of land for stationing of caravans for residential occupation with associated development (hard standing and day room) - part retrospective.
