In the news: Planning inquiry date set
A date has been set for a planning inquiry in respect of Land at the Eastern End of Cornwall Road, Cornwall Road, North Benfleet.
The Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an Inquiry opening at 10am on Tuesday and Wednesday 26 and 27 October to be held at The Basildon Centre, St George's Suite, St Martin's Square, Basildon, Essex SS14 1DL.
The inquiry follows an appeal by Douglas Dean, James Blyth and Jack Blyth relating to the enforcement notices issued by Basildon Council alleging:
1) Without planning permission, the operational development consisting of the construction of an independently occupied dwelling house.
2) Without planning permission, the material change in the use of the land from woodland to the storage of the construction and waste materials and domestic furniture.
3) Without planning permission, the material change in the use of the land from woodland to residential garden amenity space.
