CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) - Basildon Council service and information updates
Latest national COVID-19 restrictions announced on Monday 4 January 2021; Coronavirus cases are rising rapidly across the country. To reduce the spread of the virus, the whole of England has entered a national lockdown with immediate effect. Restrictions will be put into law later this week.
Basildon Council is stepping up its fight against the spread of coronavirus and protecting staff and the public by closing the reception at the Basildon Centre, the Crunch service and Barleylands Recycling Centre.
Basildon Council has announced further amendments to services and activities as it continues to prioritise its work to support those most vulnerable in the community and most at risk from the impact of coronavirus.
The Council is committed to public participation in the planning process. In light of recent events and following the latest Government advice on the Coronavirus, a decision has been made to cancel tonight's meeting of the planning committee.
