With an average of 2,500 visitors every hour Basildon's busy town centre is a fantastic location for business and other organisations to get their products and services noticed.

Basildon Council has several town centre pitches of various sizes available for hire, at prices starting from just over £121 (Inc VAT) per day. We can also grant permission for roaming leaflet distribution within the entire Town Square.

Please note: Basildon Council cannot guarantee hirers exclusive use of their preferred pitch space. Depending on booking circumstances hirers may be expected to share use of available pitch space. However every effort will be made to accommodate the needs of each hirer comfortably and without giving reason for dissatisfaction.

Costa Piazza No.1

• Costa Piazza 1 (CP1) is a large pitch space in the centre of the Town Square which enjoys constant heavy footfall.
• Nearest shops include: Costa Coffee, Boots and W.H. Smith.
• A large open pitch that is perfect for promotions that involve vehicles or a number of stalls.
• Commercial hire: weekday £217, Sat or Sun £506.15, 5 days £867.70, 7 days £1157.80.
• Small / Local Businesses hire: weekday £115.70, Sat or Sun £303.75, 5 days £520.70, 7 days £694.30

Costa Piazza No.2

• Costa Piazza 2 (CP2) is alongside CP1 in the centre of the Town Square which enjoys constant heavy footfall.
• Nearest shops include: Boots, W.H. Smith, Primark
• A smaller space than CP1 but enjoying the same heavy footfall as CP1 and more convenient if you have a smaller promotion.

Mother and Child Fountain

• A large pitch space next to the town centre's iconic Mother and Child fountain and enjoying a heavy footfall from all directions through the town square.
• Nearest shops include: Primark, Boots, W.H. Smith
• It is a large open space and ideal for table displays, gazebos, trailers and the like.

• This pitch space is our smallest pitch at 10 x 10 metres however it enjoys a large footfall.
• Nearest shops include: B & M Store, Marks and Spencer, Toni & Guy.
• Please check the size of any equipment you want to use as it must be able to fit in the pitch space without obstructing walkways.

St Martins Square Event Space

• If you have a large pitch that you would like to promote or an event that you need the space to host then look no further than this brilliant, large pitch space.
• Nearest shops and attractions: Wilkinson's, M&S, Towngate Theatre, Basildon Council offices and library and Westgate Shopping Centre. 
• This area has previously hosted large events such as the Royal Anglian Homecoming March and various other attractions.

Town Square roaming leaflet distribution

• Leafleting throughout the entire town square can be a great way of promoting your business .
• Discounted rate for 5 day and 7 day bookings (must be consecutive days)
