Tenant and Leaseholder Representatives often act as the "eyes and ears" within their local community, reporting matters that need to be dealt with direct to Basildon Council, such as; dumped rubbish, abandoned vehicles, landscaping and community issues.
Tenant and Leaseholder Representatives have an advisory role in helping to shape and determine the future provision of housing policy and services, such as Housing Management, Housing Options and the council Housing Repairs. They are also consulted for their opinions on matters including:
