Basildon Council has now reopened many of its children's play areas and outdoor gyms in parks, open spaces and housing estates.
Before reopening each of more than 140 children's play areas and several outdoor gyms, council staff must sanitize all contact points and surfaces on play and exercise equipment with specialised cleaning solutions.
