Basildon Council's sports centres can accommodate most sports and provide a range of programmes for all the family, ranging from pre-school activities to sessions for the active retired.
Casual booking of sports centre facilities can be made in person or by telephone and will be accepted up to 7 days in advance.
Payment must be made at the time of making the booking.
Booking cancellations require 48 hours notice in advance of session for money to be refunded.
Requests from clubs for long term bookings of areas within all facilities will only be accepted from bona-fide clubs and organisations.
Sports Centre bookings require a minimum number of courts always remain available for general use.
In order to keep disruption to a minimum during peak times, the week is generally broken down into court activities and whole hall activities. However, whenever it is practical to do so these restrictions are lifted
