Only a 10 minute walk through the Country Park from Pitsea railway station

  • Free on-site car parking
  • Camp chairs can be taken into the arena
  • Food, soft drinks and licensed bar on-site
  • Customers can take their own food and drink into the event (but not alcohol)
  • Not permitted - BBQ's, open fires, garden flares, gazebos, windbreakers, tented structures or glass items
  • No dogs will be allowed entry other than registered assistance dogs

Folk singer Heidi Talbot This link opens in a new browser windowHeidi Talbot with John McCusker and Boo Hewerdine

Heidi Talbot is one of the best female folk artists ever to come out of Ireland and has performed with folk super group Drever, McCusker and Woomble. She's been described as "Sheer, unadulterated class".

A startlingly perceptive and self-assured young singer and guitarist from the English midlands, Sam Carter has spent the last few years busily honing his craft both as a writer and performer, studying guitar with Martin Simpson and touring with Bellowhead whilst holding down his post as Emerging Artist in Residence at London's Southbank Centre.

A top and up and coming folk band made up of former members of folk legends Bellowhead,

Since that meeting in Sidmouth, Faustus have established themselves as a major force on the English roots scene and have expanded the line up for an even bigger sound. Pete Flood joins to add drums and percussion as well as singing bass and James Fagan enters the fray with Bouzouki and singing.

A local band who have been exciting festival audiences since 1988.

The Skeletons have performed at numerous events and festivals and have recently reformed following a break to pursue other musical projects. Along the way, Skeleton Crew have honed their unique ability to combine the subtleties of traditional English music with driving rock riffs in order to provide one of the most innovative and exciting live acts around and are sure to get the festival off to a lively start!
