Free networking EXPO 2018 set to boost local businesses

Businesses wanting to showcase their work and connect with potential clients and customers are invited to attend the Basildon Business Expo when it returns in November. The free to attend exhibition is the largest business to business event in Basildon.

Basildon Council has once again teamed up with the Essex Chambers of Commerce to organise the Expo, taking place between 10am and 3pm on Thursday 22 November.

Following the success of the 2017 Basildon Business Expo, the event has a new venue for 2018 to allow for more exhibitors. There will be in excess of 50 exhibitors that will attend the event at the Holiday Inn, Basildon. Attending delegates will be able to access a wide range of available support and secure new business, make new connections or build on existing business relationships with the available networking opportunities.

After the exhibition, from 3.30pm to 5pm, a business reception will take place. Visitors will be given the chance to join fellow delegates for an afternoon tea courtesy of Tiptree Jam manufacturers Wilkin & Sons.

Hosted by David Burch, Director of Policy at Essex Chambers of Commerce, the business reception will enable businesses to engage with an influential panel on a range of key business issues that affects Basildon and the south Essex economy - including the proposals for the Lower Thames Crossing.
