Brownfield Land Register - How to submit potential sites

How to submit potential sites for inclusion in the Brownfield Land Register.

To suggest a potential site for the HELAA or BLR please complete the Site Submission form below and return it to the Planning Policy Team, together with a map which clearly identifies the boundary of the site by 31 March 2018. The Council will consider the site(s) in the next annual review in 2018.

The site must be previously-developed 'brownfield' land, and capable of supporting 5-or-more dwellings or be at least 0.25 hectares in size.  Sites should be suitable for residential use and free from constraints that cannot be mitigated.  The Council will have the final say on which land is placed on the Register. Inclusion on the Register does not prevent a planning permission planning application being pursued alongside, or at a later date.
