The Safer Basildon Partnership

The vision of the Safer Basildon Partnership is "Working together to make Basildon a Safer Place".

The Safer Basildon Partnership is Basildon Borough's own community safety partnership (CSP).  CSPs are a statutory requirement of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and have a duty to formulate a strategy to reduce crime and disorder, combat substance misuse and reduce re-offending in their local area.

CSPs do not replace the work of the Police or the day to day business of the organisations involved, instead they are seen as clear routes for agencies to work together, delivering against agreed priorities, co-ordinating resources, achieving efficiencies and value for money.

Free Online Safety Awareness session

A free Online Safety Awareness session for parents, grandparents, carers, and guardians is taking place on Thursday 24 February 2022  between 8pm - 9.30pm via Zoom.

The session will highlight the potential risks young people face on the games and apps they play, and advise on how to support and manage their online activity.
