Pulse Health Studio at The Place

Pulse Fitness classes are a great way to get active and keep fit. Classes are usually set to music and done in a group, which makes them really social, motivational and good fun.

Weekly dance and fitness classes at the Place

All classes cost £4.50 per session unless you take advantage of our Full Pulse Membership package. All classes are included in the Full Pulse package of £22.00 per month (or £23.30 if you 'pay as you go'), see membership details below .

Monday

  • 9.30am-10.30am - BODY BLITZ
    Good overall body workout tackling and getting to grips with your wobbly bits! Incorporating hand weights, bands, tubes and lots more. Smiles too!
  • 10.30am-11.15pm - STEP AEROBICS
    Features a mixture of cardiovascular training and muscle conditioning to help tone and shape the whole body. Finishing off with some abs.
  • (NEW) 6pm-6.45pm - BOOTCAMP
    A great new class incorporating equipment that you don't get in the normal gym! Great for burning fat, toning up and getting a full body workout. Open to all levels of fitness.

Tuesday

  • 9.30am-10.30pm - LOW AEROBICS
    A fun low impact class involving both cardiovascular and resistance exercise to motivating, fun music! A real feel good factor!
  • (NEW) 10.30am-11.30pm - STRETCH and TONE
    A yoga based class to improve your flexibility and mobility. Ease your aches and pains, tones you up and strengthens your core.
  • 6pm-6.45pm - PEDAL MANIA
    Burn up to 900 calories per session with this intense cardiovascular workout using a variety of pedal speeds, body positions and intensity settings. Beginners welcome. Places are limited to 10 per class therefore booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
  • 6pm-6.45pm - BOKWA PUNCH and STRIKE
    Bokwa Punch & Strike is a cardio workout combining the trademark Bokwa programme with combat moves. Guaranteed to get your heart rate up and burning the calories!

Wednesday

  • (NEW) 6pm-7pm - BODY BURN
    A new high intensity class to burn that fat and get rid of your wobbly bits! Body weight exercises designed to make you sweat the fat away!
  • 7pm-7.45pm - PUNCH CLASS
    A fun, energetic boxing based class for fat burning, cardio and toning up.

Thursday

  • 9.30am-10.15am - STABILITY BALL
    The best class to tone your stomach muscles - finding the inner muscles that you didn't realise that you had! Stabilising and strengthening your abdominal muscles, obliques, lower back, bum, legs and arms. WOW - all in 45 minutes!
  • 10.30am-11.15am - KETTLEBELL
    Want to burn some serious calories in just 45 minutes? Kettlebell is the class to try. A swinging movement that helps improve posture, back, strength and power. The magic is in the swing. You can do it!
  • 6.30pm-7.30pm - PILATES
    Achieve peace of mind and relieve stress and tension. Focus on stretching and strengthening the whole body to improve balance, muscle-strength, flexibility and posture. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
  • 6.30pm-7.15pm - PEDAL MANIA

Friday

  • (NEW) 9.30am-10.30am - BODY BOXING MIX
    A new full body workout for all fitness levels. Based on Boxing and MMA training, learn how to kick and punch your way to fitness.
