Apprenticeship Scheme at Basildon Council

Basildon Council is committed to creating opportunities for all and to supporting young people in gaining experience and employment.

Choosing an Apprenticeship gives those with little or no work experience the opportunity to work for an employer, earn a salary and gain a qualification whilst attaining valuable skills with which to enter the workforce.

This is achieved through our comprehensive Apprenticeship training programme, which includes:

  • adapting to the work environment
  • understanding responsibilities
  • health and safety
  • managing performance
  • developing an awareness of good customer service and what it involves.

Basildon Borough Council Apprenticeship Scheme (BBCA)
