Allotments There are several allotment sites through out the Basildon District, including two run by Basildon District Council

Basildon District Council Allotments
There are two Council run allotments - Market Road, Wickford and Vange - which at the moment are both fully subscribed with waiting lists.

From 1st April 2007 the annual charge for a Basildon Council allotments is:-

	Wickford Allotments	Vange Allotments

OAP	Ł13.70 per annum	Ł9.00 per annum

Adult	Ł27.40 per annum	Ł18.00 per annum

There is an additional one off charge of Ł4.20 for a key to the allotment site.

Should you lose your key you will be charged Ł4.20 for a replacement.

Privately Run Allotments
There are several other allotment sites in the District, these are run by local groups who manage their own rental agreements.

Crays Hill Allotments	Lettings Secretary - 01277 622390 There is generally a waiting list to rent an allotment at the Crays Hill site. Rental agreements run for 12 months from start of each October to the end of the following September.

Holden Gardens Allotment Assoc.	Lettings Secretary - 01277 282426

Pendle Drive Allotments	01268 520728 or 01268 520688 There is generally a waiting list to rent an allotment at the Pendle Drive site.
