This centre provides venues for a large number of clubs and organisations that offer activities for all the community. The centre is situated in Northlands Pavement, Pitsea adjacent to Pitsea Library and Pitsea Shopping Centre. It opened in 1979, extended in 1987 and was extensively refurbished in 1997.

  • The centre has four function rooms, all with licensed bars and can cater for weddings, engagements, birthday parties, anniversaries or any special occasion.
  • Five meeting rooms are available to host club meetings, seminars or training sessions. Many clubs already meet at the Centre and are always on the look out for new members.
  • The Main Hall can hold large conferences and is the home of archery clubs, short mat bowls clubs and many more.
  • Pitsea Day Centre is based within the Centre, Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. There are a variety of activities available for the active retired including snooker, bowls, line dancing, pottery, table tennis and much more.
  • The Fun Factory is an indoor soft play area which provides a safe environment for children to play in.
  • Children 's parties are available in the Fun Factory or in one of the activity rooms

Community Halls
The Council have a number of Community Halls in which a large number of clubs and organisations meet.

A number of these are also available to hire for private functions, meetings, etc. In some cases these halls are managed by local community associations, others are managed directly by the Council's Community Services department.
