What better way to spend a crisp winter morning or warm sunny afternoon than a stroll around either Ramsden Crays Circular Walk or Crays Hill Circular Walk, or maybe Little Bursted or North Benfleet or you could do all four!
Bridle Ways
You may be surprised to hear that there are some lovely Bridle Ways throughout the district - for further details contact Bridle Ways Officer
Cycling
There are over 30 kilometres of shared and segregated cycle track in the Basildon District, with plans to extend the network. A cycle route can be a mixture of dedicated cycle tracks, shared or segregated pedestrian path and quieter roads. Together these are signed to produce routes which link popular destinations with residential areas.
Special cycle direction signs are used to indicate the route for cyclist at or before road junctions. If you require further information or a copy of the "Basildon by Bike Cycling Map" please email the Cycling and Public Rights of Way Officer
