Paying your Council Tax
You can spread payments over 10 instalments from April-January in a full financial year, (12 instalments from April-March if you pay by Direct Debit).
You can pay by one yearly payment on 6 May or two equal instalments on 6 May and 6 October.
The easiest way to pay your annual Council Tax charge is by direct debit from a bank or building society account.
Unless you pay by Direct Debit it is important to remember to take into account the time taken for the post and banking systems to process your payment. Being aware of this will help you to ensure your payment reaches the Council by the due date.

If you have a genuine problem meeting payments it is best not to wait until you receive a reminder or summons to request help.
