Where can I get a Radar Key so that I have access to the disabled toilets?

Cashiering Service

Many of the disabled toilets in the area require a Radar Key. These are available from any Basildon Council Cashiering Office.

Local news recorded on cassette tape. The service is aimed at blind, partially sighted people, severely physically disabled and others who find reading a strain.


Sign Language Interpreting

We have basic British Sign Language (BSL) communicators who can help with:-
  • Housing applications
  • Council Tax enquiries
The service provides confidential interpretation between sign language and spoken English.

We aim to be as flexible and responsive as possible and will act as an aid to communication between deaf and hearing people.
